1. Capture & Submit

To provide an accurate valuation, we need to see the overall condition of your boots. Using our Photo Submission Guide for refrence, upload high-resolution images of your Red Wing footware to the trade in form.

• Our Primary Focus: We evaluate the integrity of the welts, the condition of the internal heel counter, and the state of the footbeds.

• The Label: Please include a clear shot of the internal tongue tag to verify the model number and size.

2. Expert Grading

Once submitted, our team performs a digital "bench inspection." We categorize your boots into one of our four trade in tiers:

• Good as new:  £150 Hardly worn with no significant signs of use.

• Premium: £90 Resole Candidate with usable Factory original welts, little to no footbed impressions, rigid heel counters, no upper stretching.

• Standard: £70 Well-loved but not abused. Structural integrity of uppers, especially the counters is 100% with no signs of distortion, excessive stretching or cracked leather.

• Recycle: £20 Boots that have seen heavy miles. if the uppers are beyond the point of economical , we accept them for potential parts or recycling to keep them out of landfills.

You will receive a preliminary credit offer via email within 24–48 hours.

3. Ship & Shop

If you accept our offer, print it out and place it in a box with your boots then post them into us. check out our postal repairs page for handy postal instructions and tips..

• Verification: Once your boots arrive, we perform a final physical authentication to ensure the welts, footbeds, and internals match your photos.

• Instant Credit: As soon as they are verified, a digital Store Gift Card is sent straight to your inbox. you can use it however you like including to purchse another pair of boots from our store, have a custom pair built from our "build a boot stock" or use the credit against any resoles you need on your current boots.
